Appointment Preparation and Booking Conditions
For your appointment, please arrive with lovely clean lashes so no eye make up or strip lash glue and remove contact lenses if you wear them.
Please also allow up to 2 hours for your treatment. For brow treatments, please allow approx 30mins for your appointment and arrive with a makeup free face. I also advise not to get your lashes and brows wet for the first 24 hours, if you need to wash your hair, please do this before your appointment. Changes in humidity and temperature within the first 24 hours will effect the retention of your treatment.
Please ensure there is absolutely no mascara left on your natural lashes at your appointments as this will act as a barrier and the adhesive will not hold.
Please also avoid any make up removers, creams and stray tans etc that contain oil, particularly micellar water before and after your appointment as it acts as a barrier and will compromise your retention.
Please follow and familiarise yourself with all appointment preparations and aftercare advice and guidance as per your treatment and booking policy.
On the day of your appointment, please avoid caffeine, alcohol and any other stimulants as these can cause twitchy eyes. Also avoid having a big drink just before as having a full bladder for up to 2 hours maybe uncomfortable.
Non Refundable Booking Fee and Cancellation Policy
A non refundable 50% (minimum £20) booking fee per treatment is required to secure your appointment. No appointments are secure until a booking fee has been received and I cannot guarantee availability until this is paid.
Should you need to amend your booking at least 48 hours before hand, please let me know and I can check availability. Any amendments within 48 hours will be loss of booking fee.
Arrive on Time
Please arrive on time as less time means less lashes. Unforeseen circ*mstances do happen and I allow up to 10 mins from the start of your appointment time for any delays. After this point it may be difficult for me to complete your booked treatments without my work being compromised. Should this happen, it will be loss of booking fees and cost of treatments scheduled. Should you wish to rebook I do also ask for full payment at time of booking due to loss of earnings. Again, all payments made will be loss should you cancel within 48 hours.
Patch Tests
Patch testing is recommended as per my products manufacturing guidelines and my insurance policy. If you have particularly sensitive eyes or any known allergies it is strongly recommended to have a patch test. This needs to be done a minimum of 48 hours prior to your appointment. To secure your patch test appointment, I require a non refundable booking fee. To ensure a good reliable patch test can be completed, please arrive at your consultation with lovely clean lashes to enable me to be able to place a small amount lash extensions on your natural lashes. Following your patch test, I will ask you to watch out for any reactions such as swelling, itching, redness or burning and anything that just doesn’t feel right. Please let me know if this happens.
Pls note, it is your responsibility to ensure you have booked in advance a patch test a minimum of 48 hours prior to your treatment. Failure to do so will result in full loss of your booking fee.
Health
Please also advise me if you are planning to have the COVID injection as extra precautions need to adjusted for timescales. Appointments can not be booked within 4 weeks of your Covid injection.
If you have had recent surgery, any medical procedure or a change in your medical history, please consult with your medical professional that it is safe to proceed with your treatment to ensure that there are no adverse reactions for insurance purposes.
For insurance purposes please also advise me if you are or could be pregnant, breastfeeding, suffer from epilepsy and had chemotherapy or radiotherapy in the last 12 months. Please seek professional medical advise and guidance before proceeding with all lash treatments to ensure the UV LED light beam is suitable for you.
Under 17?
If you are 17 and under, I require consent from a parent or guardian so please get them to either message me or pop in when you come to your appointment.
Please also attend your appointment alone, unless under 17, as I am not covered under my insurance for guests and I have no comfort facilities available to access.
- if you currently have lash extensions from a previous lash tech, please tell at the time of booking as these will need to be removed at an additional cost of £15.
- Pls also tell me at the time of booking if you have had a Lash Lift within the last 2 months.
